This is called the “resurrection dram” because it was the first distillation after Bruichladdich was re-opened by its new owners on 23/10/2001. It was made from medium peated barley - 10 ppm instead of the usual 3-5 ppm. Limited to 24,000 bottles worldwide, now mostly sold out. A small Australian allocation has just landed.
Other reviews... So subtle! Spiced sultana on malt, laced with golden syrup...Simplistic but beautifully effective...Now be honest, how can you not have a first class resurrection in the Bible...? 46% Alc./Vol. 90.5 points
