2017 Coriole Sparta Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black core with a deep bright dark red black hue. Lifted freshly crushed blackberry and liquorice scents intermingle with dark plum, subtle vanillin cedar and pepper notes. Medium to full bodied and richly flavoured with juicy just crushed blackberry and inky liquorice over lightly smoked vanillin cedar and blackpepper, it finishes with slightly dryish but well integrated tannins and a youthful freshness to the acidity. Good depth with an aftertaste of juicy, just crushed blackberries, inky liquorice, vanillin cedar, traces of earth and blackpepper.
Cellar 4-5 years.
