2017 Taylor Ferguson Family Reserve Durif

Very dense inky black colour with a very deep black dark red hue. Heady black cherry, liquorice, black plum and dried cherry scents are followed by earthy vanillin oak and spicy dried herb notes. Thick, robust and concentrated, rich black cherry and liquorice fruits are backed by a stern tannin structure. Elements of graphite, tar, earthy vanillin cedar and peppered herbs lie on the back half. Dry, tightly knit finish with a firm grippy aftertaste.
