Tasting note: [Batch BR09] This release was distilled from Loch's County Ale malt profile and aged in ex-Tawny (Australian Port) European oak barrels. Deep brass gold in colour, it offers a generous, malt-forward bouquet with subtle red berry and cocoa notes. The palate ups the ante in a fabulous flavour rush, infused with hints of lamingtons, chocolate box and vanilla, sweetening in the final stages. It's bottled at "optimum drinking strength" and created to pair with the distillery's County Ale. 48.8% Alc./Vol.
