2013 Patrick of Coonawarra Grande Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Patrick’s Grande Reserve is produced from only top vintages using the best fruit. Single vineyard parcels from the 60 year old Home Block Vineyard are selected and then aged in 100% new French oak for 32 months. The wine is then cellared for a minimum of 6 years before release.
Dense pitch black in colour with a deep dark red hue. Soaring from the glass are gorgeous scents of ripe blackcurrant and liquorice followed by mulberry, vanillin cedar, subtle choc mint, tobacco, earth and spice notes. Rich, silky and refined the palate is flooded with a powerful wave of blackcurrant and ripe mulberry fruits which seamlessly meld into a vanillin cedar, tobacco, dark chocolate, earth, mint and spice back drop. Velvet smooth tannin structure concluding long, deep and finessed.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
