2023 Marchand & Burch Villages Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish toned edges and a watery hue. Refined white peach, pear and dried honey aromas unfurl from the glass followed by some citrusy nougat, biscuit and faint gun flint notes. Rich and concentrated yet beautifully proportioned and balanced the palate is eloquently layered with white peach, nectarine and dried honey flavours which have a nicely fleshed feel. Biscuity nougat, citrus, subtle cashew and spice elements linger underneath. Gently creamy it finishes long and fresh.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
