2017 Santa Ana Reserve Malbec

Aged in French and American oak for 9 months. Opaque dark red black tinged colour with a bright purple red hue. Nosing reveals freshly crushed dark cherry, plum and blueberry aromas followed by some inky earth and spicy herb notes. Medium bodied the youthful palate is filled with juicy crushed berry flavours that are laced with herbs over some inky earth characters and spicy vanillin cedar. Fine grained, slightly dryish tannins. Aftertaste of spicy ripe dark cherries, infusions of dried herbs and earthy vanillin cedar characters.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
