Blanton's Straight from the Barrel Bourbon Whiskey (700ml)

Blanton's first Single Barrel release was in 1984 and was named after Colonel Albert Bacon Blanton, who in 1901 at the age of twenty became superintendent of the distillery. Blanton's latest 'Straight from the Barrel' collection is currently on offer only in international and duty free markets. A small number of bottles from barrel No.142 have just arrived in Australia.

This Bourbon was produced from a corn, rye and malted barley sour mash and matured in white oak casks in Warehouse 'N'. Alcohol by volume will vary between bottlings. Chill Filtered.

Tasting Notes: Rich Amber color. Nose: Light with cream, faint brown sugar. Palate entry: Bold on the back of the tongue and mouth, opening into a powerful yet balanced mix of cream, raisins, fudge, smoke, dried citrus, and oak. Finish: Long and creamy in the mouth with hints of butter and brown sugar.
