Croft Distinction Special Reserve Tawny Port

The grape varieties that have been blended to make this port include the dense and concentrated Touriga Nacional, the fruity and full bodied Touriga Francesca, the firm and finely constructed Tinta Roriz and the rich and fragrant Tinta Barroca. The blend has been aged in oak for between 4 and 5 years.

Medium body, crimson colour with crimson hue. Delicate top note of marzipan, followed by spice, lifted liquorice, raisins and just a touch of rancio. The palate is held together with fine old brandy spirit, enhancing flavours of raisins and liquorice all sorts. Clean brandy spirit finish with very long infusions of plum and raisins.
