Tasting note: Perfect clarity. Bright gold, straw coloured edges. Banana cake, which seems to be a signature note from this distillery, plus faint suggestions of cherry ripe bar. Several minutes in the glass repeats the banana cake theme, also adding hints of toasted marshmallow and vanilla. Good concentration with a well rounded, supple, medium bodied delivery; the early maltiness dovetails into spicy oak, then juicy, fruit'n'nut chocolate sweetness carries the finish; hints of berry flavoured bubble gum late in the aftertaste.
