North Star Grain 36 Year Old Cask Strength Blended Grain Scotch Whisky (700ml)

A new concept in blended whisky is this 'Grain', sourced from distilleries across Scotland. Aged for 36 years in a single Bourbon barrel before being bottled in March 2019 for North Star's eighth batch of single cask bottlings. We have less than a handful of the 288 bottles released. Notes from North Star say to suggest aromas and flavours of charred oak and poached plums, hard toffee and French fancy followed by a drying, salty finish. Non chill filtered. 52.5% Alc./Vol.
