2015 Rolf Binder Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Lifted aromas of dark plums and liquorice are followed by some toasty vanillin oak and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate boasts succulent dark plum, blueberry and liquorice flavours within a fleshy mouthfeel over toasty vanillin oak and spice. The tannins appear velvet like beneath the lush core of fruit yet there’s an underlying sturdiness to the wine. Medium to long aftertaste of spicy dark plums, liquorice and toasty vanillin oak.
Cellar 4-5 years.
