2016 Mountadam Vineyards Estate High Eden Chardonnay

Matured in French oak barriques for 12-14 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Nosing evokes aromas of nectarines and a hint of grapefruit laced with dried honey and biscuity oak over subtle spicy cashew and nougat notes. Rich with medium to full body weight and a very well rounded mouthfeel the palate features generous ripe white peach and nectarine flavours married to dried honey characters over a back drop of biscuity oak, cashew and subtle spicy nougat. Clean dry finish with a long fleshy white peach, ripe nectarine, dried honey, biscuity nougat, cashew and spice aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
