2017 Moss Wood Chardonnay
Brilliant pale straw colour with a faint glimmer of green to the edges and a watery hue. A mixture of lemon butter and apricot scents interplay with bees wax, subtle cashew, nougat and spice. Rich and creamy in its texture the medium bodied palate has flavours of lemon butter, bees wax and dried honey over cashew, citrusy nougat and spice. Finishes dry with good fresh acidity. Aftertaste of lemon butter, bees wax, oily cashew, citrusy nougat and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc. 13.5%

It only takes a millisecond to know you are in the presence of vinous royalty. This is a truly beautiful chardonnay, seamless perfection from the first sip. You know there has to be quality oak somewhere in the wine, and know that all the analytical numbers will be a Bo Derek 10. It is liquid gold. Drink by 2032.
