2017 Querceto Chianti Classico

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Aromas of red currants are interwoven with dusty cedar, leather and spicy tobacco notes. Savoury red currant flavours have a light elegant feel across the palate overlaid by earthy leather, dried herb and spice characters. Slightly dryish tannins and bright acidity lead into a medium length aftertaste that has a chalky feel to it.
