2019 Bull Lane Via del Toro Nebbiolo

Deep dark red colour with black shaded edges and a red to brick red hue. Spicy red currant aromas mix with hints of rose petals, earth, leather and herb notes. Medium to full in body rich red currant and red liquorice fruits are underscored by a stern tannin structure which leaves a grippy feel in its wake. Earth, leather and spice characters linger on the back half. Very firm, rustic conclusion.

Bull Lane with a working title of via del Toro – right on!
Firm, architectural, red fruited, cherries, pomegranate and dry strawberry, clove and cedar notes. Good concentration and the tannins wrap around the palate superbly, powdery, al dente and building to a refreshing conclusion after each sip. Lots of tannin. Meanwhile, a serious feeling nebb emerges. Kudos. Drink 2022-2033.
