Produttori del Barbaresco is a cooperative of 51 growers that controls more than 250 acres of premium Nebbiolo vineyards in Barbaresco. This wine is blend of Nebbiolo fruit harvested from different vineyards. In great vintages they also produce nine single vineyard Barbaresco’s located within the Barbaresco village boundaries of Asili, Rabaja, Pora, Montestefano, Ovello, Paje, Montefico, Muncagota and Rio Sordo.
Bright red core with subtle black shaded edges and a light red hue. Fragrant red fruited aromas of cherry, liquorice and raspberry infused with earthy graphite like notes mix with delicate tobacco and rose petal scents. Delicious red cherry, red raspberry and red liquorice fruits show excellent intensity, framed by stern tannins and vibrant acidity which provides the wine with its focus, tension and robust structure. Notions of scorched earth, crushed rock, dried herbs and spice lie underneath. The bright, muscular finish long and elegant.

This is extremely floral and bright on the nose with lavender, violets and dark berries. Orange peel too. Full-bodied and solid with firm tannins and a tight finish. Better in 2024.
