The distillery's normal wood policy uses a combination of Spanish and American oak, typically seasoned with sherry and bourbon.
For this expression John Ramsay has matured Glenrothes exclusively in American oak refill bourbon casks. Expect abundant coconut/ vanilla/crème brulée flavours.
