Armagnac from the Bas region is considered to have the most finesse, also tending to yield spirits that are very supple in their youth. Situated in Bas-Armagnac, the Comte de Lamaestre vineyards are made up of Colombard, Ugni Blanc and Folle Blanche while the distillery is in the village of Lannepax (the ancestral home of the Delord family). Distillation takes place at the beginning of November through to the end of December in old Sier alambics. 40% Alc./Vol.
