1965 Wynns Coonawarra Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Dark brick red with youthful garnet touches. The nose is relatively concentrated with rich earthy, leathery aromas and notes of tar and dark chocolate, real Coonawarra Cabernet. The palate shows a burst of powerful flavour with chunky sweet fruit and some earth and truffle characters. The tannins are strong and solid, but drying. A powerful wine that is a little rustic.
