1988 House of MacDuff The Golden Cask Invergordon 34 Year Old Cask Strength Single Grain Scotch Whisky (700ml)

This well-aged Invergordon suggests water crackers and white pepper before budding sweetness brings forward notes of toasted marshmallow, ripe peach and gold rum. Deeper on the palate, but remains a linear, sleek style of grain with surprising vibrancy. The later stages build complexity and body adding dried coconut, milk chocolate and hints of green wood. Late oily richness brings back the sugars. Add water to broaden the mouthfeel and accent Bounty bar and an old Bourbon character. 51.9% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
