Mortlach is the Dufftowner of choice for many a whisky geek, despite five high profile neighbours including Balvenie and Glenfiddich. The style is robust and suits sherry maturation, which is just what Signatory have delivered here. The abv remains high given the considerable age. 594 bottles were drawn from a single sherry butt in mid-2016 at 56.3% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
