1992 Adelphi Breath of Speyside 30 Year Old Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

“Not your usual family-owned Speysider” is the unofficial line regarding the provenance of this mystery bottling. We are assured it's 'iconic'. There aren't many family-owned distilleries left in the region, hence, rumour has it that this is Glenfarclas and likely from sherry butts. The outturn was 192 bottles at 50.3% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.

Notes from the bottlers... The perfumy nose has aromas of cedar with fresh red apples, banana and ripe citrus fruit with a herbal and vegetable characteristic. The palate is nutty and oaky with strawberry and zesty grapefruit. Great acidity with a salted nutty, honey glazed almond, marzipan-like spicy finish.
