A gorgeous yet understated Speysider, also very feminine and fruity; Aromas of nashi pear, light beeswax, red apple and sandalwood repeat in a slow-motion flavour wave; the crunch of the fruits is almost palpable. Ends with fresh pear, green apple and traces of something more exotic (feijoa? Mango?) A regional classic in every sense. Our guess would be Glen Grant. Virgin oak barrel finished. 276 bottles. 45.2% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered. Tasted from a 15ml sample.
