1993 Carn Mor Bequest "Celebration of the Cask" Macallan 25 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

The 'Bequest' label represents the top of the range for Carn Mor. This edition features a distillery that needs no introduction. Distilled in 1993 and bottled from a Bourbon cask in 2019, the outturn was a measly 196 bottles. It's a Macallan without sherry. Yes, these bottlings can be great too. Macallan abandoned their 'nothing but sherry' policy a while ago. With or without it, the quality of spirit more often than not stands out. Cadenheads proved it with several highly rated age statements released last year. The price / age ratio of this Carn Mor speaks for itself. Keep in mind an official 30 year old will set you back well upwards of 12K, so this really is selling for a song. Very limited stocks. 40.3% Alc./Vol.
