1994 Montgomerie's The Single Cask Collection Highland Park 21 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Highland Park continue to malt around 30% of its own supply themselves at a relatively high 30-40ppm. The remainder is sourced from Simpsons, unpeated. It explains why this distillate can go either way - quite smokey to almost indiscernibly peaty. Where Montgomerie's single cask #33 falls is anyone's guess. Matured from February 1994 to February 2015, the cask type is not disclosed, however judging by the colour alone, it was probably x-Bourbon. 46% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
