The 1995 vintage was a relatively trouble free season that produced high quality fruit. Spring and early summer were warm and very dry. Bud burst was even and fruit set was good. Autumn was cool which allowed for a slow ripening process which resulted in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay base wines with very good fruit intensity.Made from 100% Chardonnay the colour is light gold with green hues. The nose displays aromas of fresh bread and honey along with some aged yeast characters and background notes of white peach. The palate is very elegant with a soft creamy texture. Good mousse with dry middle flavours of almond, nuttiness and caramelised sugar/toffee notes.
