1996 Amberley Chenin Blanc

The 1996 Margaret River whites are packed with flavour and reflect the perfect weather conditions in W.A. at the time of vintage. Light fresh watery colour - indicating a very young fresh wine. The nose is uplifted, fresh, filled with aromatic green apple, tropical fruit and spice aromas. The palate is filled with flavour, and a surprising amount of weight, given the light colour. Ripe Jonathan apple flavours dominate, with good length of flavour and acidity. The flavours persist and extend into a long aftertaste with baked apple spice flavours. An excellent refreshing white wine, cellar 2 - 3 years.
