Very deep brick red colour. Aromas of stewed fruit cedar and spice. On the palate, stewed fruit flavours are enhanced by spice, cedar and blackcurrant with earthy end palate flavours. Simple palate structure. Soft tannins. Stewed fruit spice aftertaste.

A wine that is drinking perfectly now. Very deep aroma, brick red colour showing signs of some early bottle development. Excellent nose, with aroma of spice, confectionary, blackcurrant, cedar, chocolate and vanilla. The palate displays excellent complexity, with very spicy black pepper background, under layers of stewed fruit spice, leather and cedar. Excellent length and persistence. Fine grained, soft tannins, with just a taste of pencil shavings. Very long aftertaste of spice, blackcurrant and black pepper. Enjoy over the next 1-2 years.
