Totally opaque black, crimson colour. The nose displays very ripe fruit aromas of vanilla and liquorice with a tarry end note. The palate weight is substantial and to some degree offset by very firm dry tannins. Flavours of vanilla, liquorice, blackberry and plum with tarry back palate flavours that run long into the aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
