1998 Rosemount Estate Show Reserve Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

A full bodied, rich red – very opulent and almost Barossa like in its palate weight and flavour. Opaque, black crimson colour with a deep crimson edge. Aroma of vanilla, ripe stewed plums with a hint of truffle, cedar and blackcurrant. On the palate the flavour is very generous dominated by ripe, spiced blackcurrant, dark chocolate and liquorice. The wine displays excellent length and persistence. Fine grained dry lingering tannins with plum, chocolate spice aftertaste. Cellar 3-4 years.
