1998 Tatachilla Padthaway Chardonnay

Tatachilla have produced a new up market range of regional varietals with very trendy packaging. Lifted vanillin oak, cinnamon, spice and vanilla nose with tropical fruit, melon and peach in the background. The palate is a little light with oak flavours dominant. Vanilla, cinnamon and spice over riding the peach background flavours and lingering long into the aftertaste. Cellar 1-2 years.
