1998 Yalumba 'D' Black Methode Champenoise

This sparkling red is composed of a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. Deep mauve crimson mousse. Opaque brick red colour. The bead displays moderate persistence. Flavours of plum pudding, spice, prune and a hint of liquorice. The palate has good weight with flavours of liquorice, plum pudding and spice. Dry tannins. Aftertaste of plum pudding, prune and ripe plum.
