1999 Mount Trio Cabernet Merlot

The Mount Trio wines are made by Gavin Berry and Gill Graham. Very deep crimson colour. Very appealing nose with aroma of truffle, chocolate, cocoa, blackcurrant and liquorice. The palate is a touch lighter than the nose suggests, and has an elegance about it. Flavours of chocolate, spice, a hint of mint, blackcurrant and truffle. Fine grained, velvet smooth tannins, followed by a very long aftertaste.
Cellar 2 – 3 years. (2003 – 2004)
