2000 Penfolds Barossa Valley Semillon Chardonnay

Brilliant pale gold colour. The Semillon dominates the nose with grassy, confectionery, lees and nutty notes with just a hint of toast. On the palate, the Chardonnay flavour profile comes into play with flavours of roasted nuts, citrus and melon. Clean finish, followed by melon, citrus aftertaste. Cellar 1 - 2 years. (2002 - 2003)
