2001 Aresti Family Collection 13 Years Aged Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep very dark red hue. Nosing yields potent aromas of ripe blackcurrant infused with earthy black olives over cigar box, a hint of old leather and spice. Medium bodied the rich blackcurrant fruit on the front palate is overwhelmed by tertiary characters of earth, cigar box, leather and spice and dry assertive tannins. Dry earthy leather aftertaste with traces of blackcurrant and spicy cigar box also evident.
