2001 De Bortoli Windy Peak Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

A clean crisp, commercial wine. Bright pale straw colour. The nose is a touch subdued, with notes of yeast lees, confectionary, and grassy background note. On the palate, flavours of tropical fruit and citrus are followed by a hint of unripe gooseberry. Moderate length. Crisp acidity, followed by citrus, tropical fruit aftertaste.
