2001 Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Villages

Translucent, crimson mauve colour. Aroma of raspberry and spice followed by subtle end notes of liquorice. On the palate the flavours are very delicate with raspberry, spice and stewed fruit dominant. The wine displays little depth. Soft tannins and an aftertaste of raspberry, spice and stewed fruit.
