A superb wine, displaying exceptional elegance and refinement.
Tasted 30/03/2005: The wine is composed of a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc and 15% Merlot. Very deep brick colour with brick red hue. Aroma of stewed fruit, cedar and spice, displaying excellent complex notes. Again the palate displays excellent complexity showing what a superb drink Cabernet can be. Cedar, blackcurrant, long spicy raspberry and mulberry overlays, followed by a very spicy back palate. Perfect balance. Outstanding length and depth. A wine that points the way forward for many lost Australian Cabernet producers.
