Very deep crimson colour with crimson hue. The nose has an impressive lift, with notes of liquorice and spice emerging followed by a touch of cedar. The palate has good weight, with flavours of spice, blackcurrant, liquorice, cedar and stewed fruit emerging. Fine dry tannins. Aftertaste of cedar and stewed fruit, with dry tannins persisting.
