Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Aroma of violet, spice, ripe plum and blackberry. The palate is simpler than the nose suggests, being relatively short. Flavours of spice plum, blackberry and liquorice. Fine dry tannins. Aftertaste of spice, plum and stewed fruit.
