2002 Leasingham Bin 56 Cabernet Sauvignon
Very deep black crimson colour with deep brick red hue. On the nose there is a touch of tea leaf followed by cedar and cigar box. The palate reflects the nose, with cedar, cigar box and tea leaf flavours. Dry finish. Cigar box and cedar aftertaste.

There is a small proportion of Malbec in this blend, which has been matured for 18 months in French and American oak. Opaque brick red colour with brick red hue. Aroma of cedar and cigar box followed by blackcurrant and a hint of old leather. The palate reveals flavours of ripe blackcurrant and spice followed by cedar and liquorice allsorts. Fine, dry and persistent tannins. Aftertaste of spice and liquorice allsorts.
