2002 Montrose Stony Creek Chardonnay

Bright deep straw colour with pale gold overlay. Aroma of toast, honey, cinnamon, cantaloupe and yeast lees followed by a smoky oak end note. The palate is full bodied, with strong flavours of toasted oak, cinnamon, spice and cantaloupe flavours followed by a citrus back palate. Clean acid finish, with very long toasted oak and lees aftertaste.
Cellar: 1-2 years (2005-2006)
