2002 Torzi Matthews Frost Dodger Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with mauve hue. Aroma of spiced plum and stewed fruit, with hint of violets, white pepper and tar. The palate has great weight and complexity, due to the fact that the grapes once picked, were left out on racks to dry. Flavours of smoky tar, cherry, spice and a hint of earth. The tannins are soft. Excellent balance, moderate length, followed by aftertaste of spice and cherry.
