2002 Woodley Queen Adelaide Cabernet Sauvignon
This is the second vintage release of a straight varietal Cabernet Sauvignon from the Queen Adelaide range and continues in the style created by the 2001 vintage. This varietal was introduced in response to the enormous popularity of Cabernet Sauvignon in the Australian market. The Queen Adelaide Cabernet Sauvignon is an easy drinking medium bodied red wine ideally enjoyed while young and fresh over the next one or two years.
Vibrant red colour with crimson highlights. The nose is lifted and expressive with bright plum and cherry aromas. The palate is medium bodied and approachable with ripe blackberry flavours supported by a subtle oak treatment that gives structure without unduly imparting flavour. Ideally suited to Lamb, Pasta, Cheese.
