2003 Amberley Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

A well made wine, but without the strong flavour profile and power of many of its neighbours. Bright straw colour. Grassy ripe gooseberry top note followed by a hint of tropical fruit. On the palate, flavours of tropical fruit, ripe and unripe gooseberry. Crisp acid finish. Aftertaste of tropical fruit and ripe gooseberry.
