2003 Cardinham Riesling

An example of an austere style of Riesling with good cellaring potential. Bright pale straw colour with pale green hue. The nose is easily recognisable as Riesling with its very distinctive lemon, citrus character overlaid by floral end notes. The palate has weight with flavours of lemon and lime being dominant. Crisp acid backbone followed by a long lime lemon aftertaste.
