Bright crimson colour with crimson mauve hue. Medium body. The wine has an impressive mulberry top note followed by spice and a hint of liquorice. The palate has good weight with flavours of mulberry continuing followed by spice and blackcurrant. Fine dry, slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, blackcurrant and spice.
