An excellent follow up to the 2002 Euphonium. Bright crimson colour with crimson hue. Medium body. Perfumed nose of violets, raspberry, cherry and spice. The palate delivers a generous flavour profile of liquorice and spice with just a touch of chocolate, stewed fruit and vanilla. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance with long aftertaste of vanilla, liquorice and confectionary with the spiciness being very persistent.
