2003 R.L. Buller & Son Calliope Shiraz

Opaque black crimson colour with deep crimson hue. There is a touch of tarriness on the nose, followed by spice, blackberry and liquorice. The palate delivers a ripe flavour profile of blackberry, plum and liquorice over a background of quite pronounced dry chalky tannins, which run well into the aftertaste and are followed by liquorice, spice and blackberry after flavours.
